Description

Cranberry Brie Bites combine creamy brie, tangy cranberry sauce, and flaky puff pastry for the ultimate holiday appetizer. Ready in just 25 minutes, these bite-sized delights are perfect for festive gatherings, dinner parties, or elegant snacking.

Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)

4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes

1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)

1 tbsp honey (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Prepare the Puff Pastry
Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 2×2-inch squares to yield 12-16 pieces.
  3. Assemble the Bites
Place each square into a mini muffin tin to form cups. Add a spoonful of cranberry sauce, then a cube of brie on top.
  4. Bake
Brush the pastry edges with beaten egg. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  5. Finish and Serve
Cool slightly. Optionally, drizzle with honey and sprinkle rosemary. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Add prosciutto or nuts for a savory twist.

Freeze unbaked bites for up to 3 months; bake directly from frozen, adding a few minutes to cooking time.

Substitute phyllo dough for a crispier texture.
