Description

Savory and festive, these Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls combine ground turkey, stuffing, and cranberries into a flavorful, oven-baked bite that’s perfect as an appetizer or side dish during the holidays.

Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

2 cups cooked stuffing (boxed or homemade)

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 egg, beaten

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp dried sage

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing or drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked stuffing, dried cranberries, celery, onion, egg, salt, pepper, sage, and garlic powder.
  3. Mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  4. Form the mixture into 1½-inch balls and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush or drizzle the tops with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Optional: serve with gravy or cranberry sauce.

Notes

Add shredded mozzarella or cheddar for a cheesy twist.

Substitute ground turkey with finely chopped leftover roast turkey.

Try fresh thyme or rosemary instead of sage for a different flavor profile.

Use gluten-free stuffing for a gluten-free version.

Add crushed red pepper or diced jalapeño for a spicy kick.

Store in fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze up to 2 months.

Reheat in oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes or microwave individual portions for 1–2 minutes.
