Ingredients

2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted

1/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Roll out one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough layer.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese mixture, pressing it gently into place.
  6. Pour the melted margarine or butter evenly over the top layer of dough.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar, then sprinkle this mixture generously over the melted butter.
