Description

Creamy Garlic Sauce Baby Potatoes are a delectable side dish featuring tender roasted baby potatoes drenched in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. This easy-to-make recipe combines the savory flavors of garlic and cheese with crispy roasted potatoes, making it a perfect addition to any meal. Whether served for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, this dish is sure to impress with its deliciously creamy texture and irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) baby potatoes, washed and halved

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Roast the Potatoes: Roast the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are tender and golden brown.
  4. Make the Sauce: While the potatoes are roasting, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Prepare the Creamy Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add Parmesan: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  7. Serve: Once the potatoes are done, transfer them to a serving dish. Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the roasted potatoes and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

Adjust Garlic: Modify the amount of garlic according to your preference for a milder or stronger garlic flavor.

Consistency: If the creamy sauce thickens too much upon reheating, add a splash of cream or milk to restore its consistency.
