Ingredients

250 g pasta (penne, rotini, or rigatoni)

300 g steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup buffalo sauce

2 tbsp honey

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup mozzarella cheese

¼ cup sour cream

2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove steak from the pan.
  3. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, buffalo sauce, honey, smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne (if using). Simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in sour cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Add the cooked pasta and mix until well combined.
  5. Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish, then top with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Reheating: Reheat in the microwave or oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes until heated through. Add extra cheese on top for added creaminess.

Make Ahead: You can prepare the pasta and sauce ahead of time and refrigerate it. Just top with cheese before baking.
