Description

A quick and satisfying crispy chicken wrap made with air-fried chicken, fresh vegetables, melted cheese, and creamy garlic mayo. Perfect for a fast lunch or easy dinner with great texture and flavor.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips

1 cup crushed cornflakes

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

4 tortilla wraps

4 cheese slices

1 tomato, sliced

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup lettuce, shredded

Salt

Black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 tablespoons garlic mayo or preferred sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Season the chicken strips with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed cornflakes.
  4. Coat each chicken strip in flour, dip into egg, then press into cornflakes until fully coated.
  5. Lightly drizzle or spray the coated chicken with olive oil.
  6. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Warm the tortilla wraps until soft.
  8. Layer lettuce, tomato, and red onion on each wrap.
  9. Add a slice of cheese, top with crispy chicken, and drizzle with garlic mayo or preferred sauce.
  10. Fold wraps tightly and serve immediately.

Swap garlic mayo with ranch, spicy mayo, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.

Add extras like pickles, cucumbers, or avocado for more texture.

Use cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack cheese for variation.

Store components separately in the fridge for up to 2 days.
