Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet Ranch seasoning mix
1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter
5–6 pepperoncini peppers
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the Ranch seasoning mix and Au Jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
- Add the butter on top of the seasonings and place the pepperoncini peppers around the chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Once the chicken is cooked, shred it in the crockpot using two forks and stir everything together with the buttery sauce.
- Serve the chicken warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For added spice, increase the amount of pepperoncini peppers or add hot sauce.
You can make this dish creamier by stirring in some cream cheese or heavy cream toward the end of cooking.
