Description

Deep Dish Pizza Cupcakes are a fun, bite-sized version of classic pizza, featuring a soft crescent roll crust filled with layers of gooey cheese, savory pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings. Ingredients

1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls (seamless sheet preferred)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Pizza toppings (pepperoni, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms)

Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Spray 8 regular muffin cups with cooking spray.
  2. Cut the crescent roll dough into 8 equal squares. Press each square into the muffin cups, forming a dough base.
  3. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cheese into the bottom of each dough-lined cup.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over the cheese in each cup.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese and your choice of pizza toppings.
  6. Sprinkle garlic powder over the toppings.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the dough is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the muffin tin and serve immediately.
