Description

This Easy Chicken Stuffing Bake is a delicious one-pan dinner perfect for busy weeknights. With tender chicken breasts, savory stuffing, and a creamy sauce, it’s a comforting meal that the whole family will love. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or meal prepping for the week, this simple casserole recipe is a go-to for easy, stress-free cooking.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (like Stove Top)

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1 cup chicken broth (for moistening stuffing)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the stuffing mix with chicken broth and stir to moisten. Set aside.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Pour evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Spread the prepared stuffing over the chicken and sauce layer.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra moist stuffing, you can add a bit more chicken broth.

Add vegetables like peas or carrots to the casserole for added nutrition.

Freezing Tip: To freeze leftovers, let the casserole cool completely, then cover tightly with plastic wrap and foil. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight and bake at 350°F (175°C) until heated through.
