Description
This rich and creamy chocolate fudge comes together in minutes with just a handful of simple ingredients. Smooth, melt-in-your-mouth, and perfect for holidays or everyday indulgence.
Ingredients
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until fully incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula to smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set. Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into 16 squares before serving.
Notes
Fold in chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch.
Mix in crushed candy canes or top with sprinkles for a festive touch.
Swap semi-sweet chocolate chips for dark chocolate for a deeper flavor.
Swirl in peanut butter or caramel before chilling for extra indulgence.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
If too firm from the fridge, let sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
