Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Roll Out:
- Divide the dough in half and roll each portion into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick on a floured surface.
- Add Filling:
- Brush each rectangle with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly across the dough.
- Roll and Chill:
- Roll the dough tightly into logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
