Description
A refreshing and easy-to-make dessert featuring a creamy pineapple filling and a crunchy graham cracker crust. No baking required, perfect for a tropical treat!
Ingredients
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the whipped topping and drained pineapple, mixing until well combined.
- Spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust in the baking dish.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for added texture and flavor.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours, or until it firms up.
- Once chilled, slice and serve!
Notes
For extra flavor, add fresh fruit like strawberries or blueberries on top.
If graham crackers are unavailable, you can substitute with crushed cookies like vanilla wafers or digestive biscuits.
If you prefer a nut-free option, skip the walnuts or use coconut flakes for a tropical twist.
