Description

When the leaves begin to change and the crispness of autumn fills the air, there’s no better way to celebrate the season than with a vibrant and refreshing Fall Fruit Salad. This delightful dish combines the best fruits of fall, including crisp apples, juicy pears, sweet grapes, and tart pomegranate, all tossed in a light and flavorful cinnamon-honey dressing. Perfect for holiday gatherings, family meals, or as a healthy snack, this fruit salad will add a burst of color and flavor to any occasion.

Ingredients

2 large apples, cored and chopped

2 large pears, cored and chopped

1 cup red or green grapes, halved

1 cup pomegranate arils (seeds)

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

For the Cinnamon-Honey Dressing:

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, pears, grapes, pomegranate arils, and dried cranberries.
  2. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Toss and Serve: Drizzle the cinnamon-honey dressing over the fruit mixture and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

You can substitute dried cranberries with raisins or dried apricots.

For a nut-free version, simply omit the nuts or use seeds like sunflower seeds for a crunchy texture.

Adjust the amount of honey depending on the sweetness of your fruit.
