Description

Fireball Whiskey Balls are a sweet and spicy no-bake treat made with Fireball whiskey, vanilla wafer crumbs, cocoa powder, and cinnamon. These bold, boozy bites are perfect for dessert lovers looking for a fun, adult-friendly treat. With just a few simple ingredients, including optional nuts, these whiskey-infused balls are easy to make and perfect for parties, gifting, or a delicious indulgence. Make them ahead of time, refrigerate, and serve as a cold, flavorful dessert.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (about 1 standard package, finely crushed)

1 cup powdered sugar, plus extra for coating

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup Fireball whiskey

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

Optional: 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and chopped nuts (if using). Stir to mix evenly.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Add the Fireball whiskey and corn syrup to the dry mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated and the mixture forms a sticky dough. If it’s too dry, add more whiskey or water, a teaspoon at a time, until the mixture holds together.
  3. Shape the Balls: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls (roughly the size of a walnut).
  4. Coat the Balls: Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat. For a festive twist, use cinnamon sugar or sprinkles instead.
  5. Chill: Place the whiskey balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow them to firm up.
  6. Serve: Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Consistency: If your dough is too dry to form into balls, add a teaspoon of whiskey or water until it holds together.

Storage: Keep the whiskey balls in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months by placing them on a baking sheet to freeze before storing them in an airtight container or freezer bag.

Optional Add-ins: Add mini chocolate chips, dried cranberries, or coconut flakes for a fun twist. Keep the dough’s consistency in mind when adding extra ingredients.
