Description
Savory and hearty one-pan Garlic Butter Beef Bites and Potatoes with tender sirloin cubes, crispy baby potatoes, and a rich garlic butter sauce. A comforting meal perfect for weeknights or weekends.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add halved baby potatoes and parboil for 8–10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil.
- Add steak bites in a single layer, seasoning with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Sear beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add parboiled potatoes to the skillet and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy.
- Return beef bites to the skillet and toss with garlic butter and chopped parsley.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra parsley.
