Description

These Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups combine seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar and mozzarella, and rich garlic butter rolled into soft pizza dough and baked until golden brown. They are comforting, cheesy, and perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tube refrigerated pizza dough

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, ketchup, and mustard. Cook for 2 more minutes to blend the flavors, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle. Evenly spread the cooked beef mixture over the dough and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into even rolls and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic and brush generously over each roll. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Substitute pepper jack or Colby Jack cheese for a different flavor profile.

Add finely chopped pickles or sautéed onions to the beef mixture for extra texture.

For a spicier version, mix in hot sauce or crushed red pepper flakes.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat in a 350°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or microwave until warmed through.

Freeze baked rollups for up to 2 months and reheat from frozen until hot.
