Description

A hearty and comforting pasta dish made with tender spaghetti tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce, savory ground beef, and topped with parmesan and parsley. Ready in 30 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights or casual dinner guests.

Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 lb ground beef

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Salt and black pepper to taste

Additional grated Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir into the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti, reserved pasta water, and grated Parmesan. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
  7. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan and additional parsley if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.

To make it creamier, add a splash of heavy cream or a spoonful of cream cheese with the pasta water.

Swap ground beef with turkey or sausage for variation.

To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Reheat with a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce.
