Ingredients
1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp (28g) butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and let the sauce simmer until it thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the steak to the skillet, tossing it in the sauce to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
You can use chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
