Ingredients

1 head cauliflower, cut into florets

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz mushrooms, sliced

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cauliflower:
    • Cut the cauliflower into florets. Rinse, drain, and pat dry.
  2. Cook the Garlic:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the Cauliflower:
    • Add cauliflower florets to the skillet.
    • Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly softened and golden brown.
  4. Add the Mushrooms:
    • Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet.
    • Cook for another 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are softened and golden brown.
  5. Season the Dish:
    • Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well.
  6. Finish and Serve:
    • Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley.
    • Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
