Description

Ingredients

8 oz pasta (spaghetti or preferred type)

4 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water, tossing to combine. Add more water if needed to achieve a creamy consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes
