Description

Ingredients

16 ounces (450 grams) Brussels sprouts, halved, trimmed, and rinsed

3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

1 tsp Italian seasoning

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (adjust to taste)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet, lining it with parchment paper if desired.
  2. Pat dry the Brussels sprouts and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, kosher salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, flip the Brussels sprouts halfway through the roasting process.

Adjust the amount of Parmesan to taste.

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the roasted sprouts for added brightness.
