Ingredients

For the Crust:

1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

For the Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups powdered sugar (approximately 1 lb)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms. Press into the prepared pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center is set but gooey.
  6. Cool completely before slicing into 16 bars.

Notes
