Ingredients

2 Granny Smith apples

1 cup water

1 cup sugar (divided)

1 stick butter

1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

8 canned biscuits (such as Pillsbury buttermilk)

4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples vertically into 8 slices each. Soak them in cold water to prevent browning.
