Description

Ingredients

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup whole wheat flour or almond flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan. Spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.

Notes

Ensure brownies are completely cooled before slicing for best results.
