Description

Creamy, savory Ground Beef Alfredo is a comforting pasta dish that combines rich homemade Alfredo sauce with hearty, seasoned beef. This easy weeknight dinner is packed with bold flavors, making it a satisfying and delicious meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

12 oz fettuccine pasta

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta – Boil fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
  3. Sauté Aromatics – Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Make the Sauce – Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add Cheese & Seasoning – Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine with Pasta – Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or cayenne.

For extra cheesiness, mix in mozzarella with Parmesan.

For a low-carb version, swap fettuccine for zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash.

For a protein swap, use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
