Description

A refreshing tropical green smoothie made with mango, spinach, and spirulina for a quick, energizing boost. Light, naturally sweet, and perfect for breakfast or a post-workout drink.


Ingredients

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 cup fresh baby spinach

1 teaspoon spirulina powder

1 cup coconut water

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1/2 medium ripe banana (optional)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pour the coconut water into a blender and add the spirulina powder. Blend on low for about 20 seconds until dissolved.
  2. Add the fresh baby spinach and lime juice. Blend on medium speed for about 15 seconds until smooth.
  3. Add the frozen mango chunks and banana (if using). Blend on high for about 30 seconds until creamy.
  4. Add the chia seeds (if using) and blend briefly on low for about 10 seconds to combine.
  5. Check consistency and adjust with more coconut water or mango as needed.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately, optionally garnished with lime or mint.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add avocado or include the banana.

For more sweetness, add pineapple, honey, or maple syrup.

Swap spinach with kale (remove stems) for a stronger green boost.

Use almond milk, oat milk, or water instead of coconut water if needed.

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator up to 24 hours; shake before drinking.
