Description

Enjoy the refreshing taste of summer with our homemade peach ice cream recipe. This creamy, fruity dessert is made with fresh peaches and a blend of rich dairy ingredients, delivering a burst of natural sweetness in every bite. Perfect for cooling off on a hot day, this homemade peach ice cream is sure to be a family favorite!

Ingredients

2 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped

1 cup white sugar

1 pint half-and-half cream

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups whole milk, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Prep the Peaches: Dice the peaches and mix them with the sugar in a bowl. Let the mixture sit while you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Add the peach and sugar mixture, stirring until well combined.
  3. Prepare the Freezer Container: Pour the mixture into a gallon ice cream freezer container. Add enough whole milk to reach the fill line, about 2 cups.
  4. Freeze the Ice Cream: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to freeze the ice cream.

Notes

You can substitute peaches with other fruits like strawberries, blackberries, or blueberries.

For a creamier texture, consider adding more half-and-half or heavy cream.
