Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
24 chocolate kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- While the cookies are still warm, press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
