Description

Honey Garlic Steak Bites are juicy, tender steak cubes coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze. Ready in just 20 minutes, this quick recipe is perfect as a main dish or a flavorful appetizer.

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season and Sear: Season steak cubes with salt and black pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak cubes for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Cook in batches if needed. Remove steak bites and set aside.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Lower heat to medium. Melt remaining butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened slightly.
  3. Combine and Finish: Return steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the glaze and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve immediately.

Notes

Use a tender cut like sirloin to keep the steak bites juicy.

Adjust red pepper flakes for spice preference or skip for a kid-friendly version.

Swap soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free dish.
