Description

Indulge in these Honey Lavender White Chocolate Truffles – creamy, floral, and delicately sweet. Made with white chocolate, honey, and lavender, these truffles are rolled in crushed nuts for a delightful crunch, making them perfect for gifting or an elegant treat.

Ingredients

1 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers (food-grade)

1/2 cup crushed nuts (such as almonds or pistachios)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Infuse the Cream: In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream until it’s about to simmer (do not boil). Add honey and dried lavender, stirring gently. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the lavender flavor.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Place white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Strain the cream mixture to remove lavender flowers and pour the warm cream over the chocolate chips. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. If necessary, microwave in short bursts, stirring in between, until fully melted.
  3. Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.
  4. Shape the Truffles: Using a small scoop or your hands, roll the mixture into small balls to form the truffles.
  5. Coat with Nuts: Roll each truffle in crushed nuts until coated evenly. Place on a plate and chill in the fridge for another 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Nuts: Almonds or pistachios work well, but you can use any crushed nut of your choice. For added flavor, toast the nuts before crushing.

Lavender Tips: Adjust the amount of lavender for a more subtle or stronger floral taste. Ensure that the lavender used is food-grade.

Storage: Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
