Description

Discover a mouthwatering blend of flavors with our Honey Mustard Surf and Turf Skewers recipe. Featuring juicy beef sirloin, succulent shrimp, and vibrant bell peppers, grilled to perfection with a tangy honey mustard marinade. Perfect for your next grilling adventure!

Ingredients

For the Skewers:

1/2 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 large onion, cut into wedges

For the Honey Mustard Marinade:

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the Ingredients:
    • Divide the marinade between the beef and shrimp, reserving some for basting. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Assemble the Skewers:
    • Thread marinated beef, shrimp, bell peppers, and onion wedges onto skewers.
  4. Grill the Skewers:
    • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for 6-8 minutes, turning and basting with reserved marinade until beef is cooked to desired doneness and shrimp are pink.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
