Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in milk and hot fudge sauce until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
