Description

Hot Honey Roasted Cauliflower is the ultimate side dish that combines crispy, caramelized cauliflower with a sweet, spicy glaze. This easy-to-make recipe balances the heat from hot sauce and red pepper flakes with the sweetness of honey, creating a mouthwatering dish perfect for any occasion. Whether served with chicken, fish, or on its own, this addictive cauliflower recipe will leave everyone asking for more!

Ingredients

1 head cauliflower, cut into florets

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.
  3. Spread cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until warm and well combined.
  5. Drizzle the hot honey glaze over the roasted cauliflower and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Return the cauliflower to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra heat, increase the amount of hot sauce or add more red pepper flakes.

Frozen cauliflower can be used but should be thawed and dried thoroughly before roasting to ensure it crisps up.

To reheat leftovers, place the cauliflower in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes to restore its crispy texture.
