Ingredients
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt until well incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm and fully set.
- Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into 16 squares before serving.
Notes
Stir constantly while melting to prevent scorching.
