Description

Ingredients

2 cups milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)

2 oz high-quality white chocolate, chopped

1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder

1 tbsp hot water

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Pinch of sea salt


Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl to remove clumps.
  2. Add hot water to the matcha and whisk until smooth and frothy. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and chopped white chocolate.
  4. Stir continuously until the white chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the prepared matcha mixture, vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of sea salt.
  6. Whisk everything together until smooth and frothy.
  7. Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
