Description

Mississippi Sin Quiche is a creamy, cheesy quiche filled with savory turkey, cheddar, and a touch of heat from hot sauce. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner, this deep-dish quiche features a flaky crust and rich, smooth filling that is sure to satisfy. Customize it with different meats, veggies, or cheeses to suit your taste!

Ingredients

1 cup cooked, diced turkey

2 ounces cream cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 green onion, chopped

¼ teaspoon hot sauce

½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

3 tablespoons sour cream

1 cup heavy cream

3 eggs

1 9-inch deep-dish pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced turkey for 3 to 5 minutes to remove excess moisture; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the warm turkey with cream cheese, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until the cream cheese melts into the meat.
  4. Spread the turkey mixture evenly into the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onion on top.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream until smooth. Pour this mixture over the meat and cheese layers.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a spicier version, add extra hot sauce or diced jalapeños into the turkey mixture.

You can swap the turkey for chicken or ham as an alternative meat.

Add sautéed spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.

Use Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese if you prefer a milder taste.
