These delightful little wreaths combine crunchy cornflakes with a gooey marshmallow base, making them a perfect snack for parties or family gatherings. Not only are they simple to make, but they’re also a fun holiday activity to do with kids!
Ingredients
20 large marshmallows
2 tablespoons butter
Green food coloring
3 cups cornflakes
2 tablespoons red M&M’s minis
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the marshmallows and butter. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes until melted and bubbly, stirring well.
- Mix in a few drops of green food coloring until the desired shade is reached.
- Gently fold in the cornflakes until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- While warm, shape small portions into wreaths, creating a small hole in the center.
- Decorate each wreath with red M&M’s to resemble holly berries.
- Allow the wreaths to cool and set completely for about 10-15 minutes.
Notes
To prevent sticking, lightly grease your hands with butter or cooking spray when shaping the wreaths.
Customize by adding other decorations like edible glitter or different colored candies.
