Description

Enjoy the delightful combination of Nutella and ripe bananas with these easy-to-make Nutella Banana Muffins. Perfect for breakfast or as a sweet treat any time of day!


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, vegetable oil, Nutella, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These muffins are best enjoyed warm or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
