Description

These ultra-fudgy, easy-to-make one-bowl brownies are rich, chocolatey, and perfectly moist. With minimal mess and maximum flavor, they come together in no time and are perfect for any occasion! Ideal for a quick dessert or indulgent snack, these brownies are a family favorite that will satisfy your chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang.
  2. Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the flour until just combined. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

For extra gooey brownies, avoid overmixing the batter and try adding chocolate chips for a richer flavor.

Brownies will firm up as they cool, so don’t worry if they seem soft in the center right after baking.

You can also add nuts, like walnuts or pecans, for added texture.
