Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted

3 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang.
- Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the flour until just combined. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.
