Description

A rich and comforting one-pan meal featuring tender steak bites and cheesy garlic butter noodles, perfect for a satisfying dinner with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-size cubes

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced (for steak)

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt & black pepper, to taste

12 oz egg noodles or fettuccine

3 tbsp butter (for noodles)

3 cloves garlic, minced (for noodles)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup reserved pasta water (if needed)

Optional Garnish: Fresh parsley, Extra Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak cubes with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and tender.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the skillet, toss to coat steak, then remove steak from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and let simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce.
  5. Toss cooked noodles into the sauce until well coated. Gently add steak bites back to the skillet and stir everything together.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use chicken or shrimp instead of steak for a variation.

Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.

Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter option.

Add more red pepper flakes or hot sauce for extra heat.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of milk or cream.
