Description

These pan-seared salmon bites are a quick, flavorful, and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a healthy dinner, snack, or appetizer. Lightly seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic, and a hint of lemon, these crispy and tender salmon bites are ready in under 15 minutes. Whether you’re cooking for a busy weeknight or entertaining guests, these salmon morsels are sure to please.

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon: Toss the salmon bites with smoked paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and chili flakes (if desired for a spicy kick).
  2. Heat the pan: Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat until melted and hot.
  3. Sear the salmon: Add the salmon cubes to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  5. Finish with lemon: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked salmon bites and remove from the heat.
  6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm, paired with rice, salad, or a dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra spice, increase chili flakes or add cayenne pepper.

For a herbaceous flavor, try adding thyme or rosemary while cooking the salmon.

For a crispier texture, coat the salmon bites in breadcrumbs or panko before searing.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a pan to retain texture.
