Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 can (15 oz) peach slices, drained and chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix and melted butter to form a crumbly dough.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create the crust.
- Bake the crust for 12–15 minutes or until golden, then set aside to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and sour cream until smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped peaches.
- Pour the filling over the cooled crust.
- Bake for another 30–35 minutes until the center is set and lightly golden.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares for serving.
Notes
Swap peaches with strawberries or blueberries for variation.
Use white cake mix for a different flavor profile.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
