Description

Peaches and Cream Pie Bars are a luscious dessert featuring juicy peaches in a creamy filling atop a buttery, golden crust, perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 can (15 oz) peach slices, drained and chopped

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix and melted butter to form a crumbly dough.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 12–15 minutes or until golden, then set aside to cool slightly.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and sour cream until smooth.
  6. Add the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chopped peaches.
  8. Pour the filling over the cooled crust.
  9. Bake for another 30–35 minutes until the center is set and lightly golden.
  10. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares for serving.

Notes

Swap peaches with strawberries or blueberries for variation.

Use white cake mix for a different flavor profile.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
