Description

Peanut Butter Apple Sandwiches with Granola are a quick, no-bake snack combining crisp apple slices, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy granola. Perfect for kids and adults alike, they’re naturally gluten-free, high in fiber, and easily customizable.

Ingredients

2 large apples (any variety)

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup granola (any kind)

2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)

1 tablespoon honey (optional)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples, then slice them into thin, 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  2. Spread creamy peanut butter over half of the apple slices.
  3. Sprinkle granola evenly on top of the peanut butter. Add mini chocolate chips and a drizzle of honey if desired.
  4. Place another apple slice on top to form a sandwich.
  5. Optionally dust the tops with cinnamon.
  6. Serve immediately for best crunch, or chill for 10 minutes to help them hold together better.

Notes

Use lemon juice on apple slices to prevent browning if making ahead.

Try almond, sunflower seed, or chocolate hazelnut spread as alternatives to peanut butter.

Mix in chia seeds, flaxseeds, or crushed pretzels for extra crunch.

Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated up to 24 hours.
