Description

Ingredients

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup caramel sauce

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups quick oats

1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)


Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the peanut butter, unsalted butter, brown sugar, and caramel sauce. Stir frequently until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Add the quick oats and mix until fully coated.
  4. Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Gently flatten each cookie with the back of the spoon.
  7. Let the cookies set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  8. Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
