Learn how to make this comforting dessert with minimal ingredients and effort.

Ingredients

6 tbsp real butter (no substitutions)

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 and 1/2 cups self-rising flour

1 and 1/2 cups sugar

1 and 1/2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter and pour it into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the melted butter.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine self-rising flour, sugar, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the pecans and butter, ensuring not to stir (the batter and pecans will create a lovely texture while baking).
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

To store: Let the cobbler cool completely, then cover it with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

To reheat: Warm it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.

You can add chocolate chips, walnuts, or even fresh fruits to customize the flavor.
