Description

Delight in the festive flavors of Peppermint Puff Pastry Sticks—a perfect holiday treat combining flaky puff pastry, rich chocolate, and crushed peppermint candies. Easy to make and delightful for snacking or gifting, these minty sticks will surely impress your family and friends during the holiday season!

Ingredients

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

1½ cups crushed peppermint candies

10 oz chocolate candy coating, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips, approximately 1 inch wide.
  3. Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  4. While the pastry sticks bake, melt the chocolate candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Once cooled, dip half of each pastry stick into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  6. Immediately sprinkle the dipped portion with crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Place the decorated sticks on a baking sheet to set, and allow them to cool completely before serving or packaging.

Notes

For best results, ensure the puff pastry is chilled before cutting to maintain its structure.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5-7 days or freeze the uncoated sticks for up to 2 months.
