Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 hamburger buns
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add onions and bell peppers, season with salt and pepper, and cook until softened, about 8-10 minutes. Set aside.
- Mix ground beef with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and cook patties on medium heat for about 5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Top each patty with a mix of mozzarella and provolone cheese a minute before they are done and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
