Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury crescent rolls

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning mix

1/2 cup water

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup salsa

1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. Season the meat with taco seasoning and water, simmering for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Arrange crescent roll triangles in a circular shape on a greased baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends in the center and pointing the narrow ends outward.
  5. Fill the crescent ring with the taco meat and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Fold the pointed ends over the filling, tucking under the wide ends to create a ring.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
