Description

These pizza roll ups are quick, cheesy, and packed with classic pizza flavor. Soft tortillas are filled with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni, then baked until warm and melty for an easy snack or party appetizer.

Ingredients

20 small flour tortillas (about 5 inches wide)

14 oz pizza sauce

24 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

80 slices pepperoni

1 tbsp cooking oil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a large baking dish or sheet pan.
  2. Place one tortilla on a flat surface and spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over it, spreading close to the edges.
  3. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  4. Add 4 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  5. Tightly roll the tortilla and place it seam side down in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and arrange them neatly in the pan.
  7. Brush the tops of the roll ups with cooking oil.
  8. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt, then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the roll ups.
  9. Bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the roll ups are heated through.
  10. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.

Notes

Add cooked sausage or chicken for a heartier variation.

For a vegetable version, include sliced olives, diced bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach.

Try mixing mozzarella with cheddar, provolone, or an Italian cheese blend for richer flavor.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5–7 minutes or microwave for about 30 seconds.

Roll tortillas tightly and place seam side down to prevent them from unrolling while baking.

Baked roll ups can be frozen for up to 2 months and reheated in the oven until hot.
