Ingredients
2 large potatoes, peeled and boiled
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for coating)
1 cup breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mash boiled potatoes in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add flour, cheddar, Parmesan, melted butter, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll the dough on a floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into 4-inch-long sticks.
- Dip each stick in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry sticks until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
